Smartphone manufacturer Samsung has launched the ‘Make For India’ Galaxy App Store for its Indian users. This app store has been launched with support of 12 Indian languages. The user does not have to sign in in order to use this store. Samsung has partnered with Indus App Bazaar for this.
Sanjay Razdan, senior director of Samsung India’s Services Management, said, “There has been an increase in smartphone access and mobile application downloads in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. We studied this trend in major markets and partnered with Indus App Market to meet the growing demand of applications in the local language. With this partnership,customers will be able to access their favorite app in 12 Indian languages in addition to English on the Galaxy App Store.

In addition to English the Galaxy App Store is available in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Oriya, Assamese, Punjabi, Kannada, Gujarati, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Marathi. There will be a special section in the Galaxy App that will give information about Indian innovation to Samsung Smartphone users, which works in conformity with the Indian government’s ‘Startup India’ initiative.
