After reporting a net loss of Rs 6985.1 crore for the fourth quarter, Vodafone Idea aka Vi has introduced 2 new recharge plans for their prepaid customers. The plans are Rs.99 and Rs.109 respectively. Both the prepaid plans offer almost the same benefits, there is not much difference in the prices of both but only validity days differ. Let’s know in detail about both the plans
VI launches Rs 99 and Rs 109 prepaid recharge plans
The Rs 99 VI prepaid plan offers a total of 1GB data along with truly unlimited voice calling benefits. It comes with a validity of 18 days. The catch is customers do not get the benefit of outgoing SMS with this plan. The new plan will benefit those who want unlimited calling and little data for less than Rs 100.
With the Rs 109 recharge plan, customers get the same benefits as 1GB data, unlimited voice calling and no SMS. However, this plan will be valid for 20 days. The new plans are already live on the official VI website.
These plan segments will provide good competition with Jio and Airetl. Unlike Vi, the Rs.98 prepaid plan of Jio comes with 1.5GB daily data.Customers will get a total of 21 GB data. After the data is over, the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps. It also offers unlimited voice call benefits. This provides good benefits for those who do not want to spend much and can even get enough daily data and unlimited call benefits. However, this plan comes with a validity of only 14 days.
