Huawei has announced the accurate date range for the upcoming foldable smartphone Mate X , which was previously postponed .
According to Vincent Pang, Huawei’s head of Europe, the foldable phone Mate X will be available from September,2019. He also said that , the device will not be affected by the US embargo decision and will come with the Android operating system.
The main reason for the postponement of Mate X’s release date is shown as a similar screen problem experienced by Galaxy Fold. Based on the information obtained, Huawei continues to develop a new generation phone to avoid similar screen problems.
Huawei Mate X Specifications
Huawei Mate X can be used as both smartphone and a tablet at the same time, manages to stand out with its interesting design.
The phone has a flexible FullView OLED display. Huawei’s new generation phone, which has an eye-catching design in general, is 11mm thick folded and 5.4mm thick when used as tablet.
The Huawei Mate X has a screen-to-body ratio of 86.9 percent , offers a resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels in tablet mode and 1148 x 2480 pixels in phone mode.
In addition, Huawei’s foldable phone is powered by the Kirin 980 processor, which is manufactured with 7 nm production technology . It comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory.
On the battery side, the device comes with a 4500 mAh battery with SuperCharge support.
