After making various changes in Messenger’s User Interface (UI), Facebook is now testing ‘dark mode’ on its messaging app and platform in some countries.
Facebook Messenger has more than a billion monthly active users and in the year 2018 the company announced that the Messenger team has been working on the redesign of the app F9 Developers Conference.
According to the News Agency, the Android Police report said late Tuesday night, “This feature is not currently being tested in the US. If you live in countries where this feature is being tested, then there will be a new ‘dark mode setting’ option in the app segment.
Social networking giants announced a new, simple UI Messenger 4 in the F8 year-old developer conference held in October 2018, then it is being projected to launch ‘Dark Mode’. Google has also confirmed that ‘dark mode’ on Android phones consumes less energy and saves battery life.
